Hockey’s baaaaaaaaaaaaack from the dead
Writing this now with very mixed emotions. I started this project to force myself into actually following through on something (one of my real weak points as a person). After posting an image a day for a year (with varying degrees of success) I can honestly say that I’ve become a better designer, and a more driven person.
During the course of this blog, life has seeped into many of my posts. 2012 has been a year of many personal ups and downs. I said goodbye to 2 very dear family members who I miss more than words can describe. But this was also the year I proposed to the love of my life and I cannot begin to explain how happy I am and how much I am looking forward to life with her.
So, I guess what I wanted to say was: anyone who has been thinking about or just talking about doing something, but has never been able to follow through on it…it’s time. Get moving…you’ll be glad you did. I know I am.
P.S. - Though it may not be every day, I do plan on posting thumbnails of upcoming projects or just things that amuse or inspire me.
